HOT ROD Challenger

Hot Rod magazine just published a bunch of my 'chop images in the September issue, check it out! I've also been working on a series of design options for them, of a short-track styled challenger for a rough '71 shell they have found. Here's one of my favourites.

  1. Misplaced the link to your blog over a year ago, found it again tonight using a more thorough combination of Google search words.

My favorite remains the April 26, 2010 "F 426", with the March 10, 2010 "petty 'cuda" a close second since I'm a mix 'n match guy. The Chrysler/Countach model I built in the early '90s is seen on this magazine cover: http://www.gasolinealleyantiques.com/kits/images/Literature/modelcarjournal-106.JPG

If you are open to suggestions, one of my stillborn model ideas was a Superbird hearse, as seen in this lousy pencil drawing: http://i45.tinypic.com/28cpphf.jpg

Thus, e-body hearse? Limo if you wish, too, though that's an overdone genre...

  2. A hearse sounds like a great idea! Perhaps using a triple black 70 challenger as a base...

    Cheers Russel!

  3. I'll keep an eye on your blog for that, plus whatever other clever illustrations you come up with.
